how do I open a .pwi file transferred from an old sd card?

I no longer have my windows phone. Moved to android. Have notes and mobile
windows programs- .pwi that I need to open. Running vista ultimate x64 and
outlook '03. sort of got an image on notepad but not everything. didn't open
in works or word.

PWI files are Windows Mobile InkWriter/Note Taker/Notes Document documents. I
don't know of anything in Outlook than can handle that file type. It's
converted by ActiveSync or WIndows Mobile Device Center.

Seems to me, you could use the Microsoft Device Emulator
(http://www.microsoft.com/downloads/...A5-183A-4A1E-A7E2-CC500ED1F19A&displaylang=en)
and install WIndows Mobile on a PC in a virtual machine, then sync with that.
