How do i open a saved file from Publisher 97 that was updated and.

I saved a Directory with images on publisher 97, then ran a bunch of updates
from the web sight and now the cd will not open with the updated changes to
publisher 97. Any ideas what to do? i put the old publisher on another
computer and tried to open the CD would not work.

I am not totally sure I understand your question, but work from your hard
drive, not the CD. And after you copy the pub file to the hard drive from
the CD, right click the file > properties > untick read only. Files burned
to a CD become read only.
