How do I open an Autocad file in Visio 2002?

when i try to import an autocad .dwg file into Visio 2002 Professional the
drawing never appears just a blank visio page? What am i doing wrong?

The most likely issue is that the DWG file was saved with nothing in the
view. Visio 2002 uses the last saved view for the contents of the file.
Other versions of Visio use the drawing extents. Open the file in AutoCAD,
zoom to extents and resave the file.
