I realize that there may be a better fit in a forum on web development.
However, my thoughts are that those with Project experience might be
more likely to have the knowledge to assist.
I have successfully opened an Enterprise Template in the local client
via a Shortcut/Batch File using the following technique:
"C:\Program Files\Microsoft Office\OFFICE11\WINPROJ.EXE" "<>\ Plan
Template" /s http://server/projectserver
But I can't find a way to kick off an application from a web page. I
assume this ability would create a security risk.
I have successfully opened a project (however, not a template) within
the web client using the following URL:
http://server/projectserver/Views/ProjectReport.asp?_projectID=1234
But I can't find a projectID reference number for an Enterprise
Template.
Ultimately, I'm trying to reference the template from a Sharepoint
site. However, I think I'm just dealing with straight up HTML to
facilitate this.
Any help would be appreciated.
