How do I open an Infopath form on another computer?

I have forms with data generated from a template that existed all on the same
computer. No talking to a database or any other computers involved.

Prior to upgrading the computer, I dutifully copied all my forms and the
source template. Now, I cannot open any of these forms on the new computer.

This seems like one of those things that is so basic, that it should be
covered somewhere, but 2 hours of research has yielded nothing so far; not
even how to transfer files from one computer to another so they remain
functional or perhaps re-associate a template to a form.

Any help would be very much appreciated. These are medical records and I
need them now.

Thanks much.

Did you republish the form template on the new computer? You can always open
InfoPath forms (the XML) in Notepad. The location of the form template the
form is using will be listed at the top. You can change this location to
point to the new location.
