how do I open hyperlinks in outlook 2007

I am running Outlook 2007 and IE7 in Vista. When I click on hyperlinks in
outlook I get message that Internet Explorer has stopped working and will now
close. I can only open the hyperlinks by right clicking and then open
hyperlink - never directly...
