how do I open my hotmail messenger inbox online without it openin.

I don't know why, but my office msn messenger keeps trying to open in my
outlook inbox. I have my outlook inbox set to a different email account. How
can I look at my Messenger online and keep my separate outlook settings
intact? Thanks.
