Can someone out there help me troubleshoot? Running Windows Office 2003.
Suddenly cant get Notepad to open. I go to start, then all programs, then
accessories. When I click on Note pad I get this error message:

The drive or network connection that the shortcut "notepad.lnk" refers to is
unavailable. Make sure the disk is properly inserted or the netwrok
resources is available, and try again."

This happens repeatedly. There must be a simple answer. Extremely grateful
for your help!!!!

This is not an Office question and should really be posted to a
newsgroup for your operating system.

Right-click the shortcut you are trying to open, select Properties.
Correct the Target to the proper location of Notepad.exe
You don't mention the operating system but the location is normally
C:\WINDOWS\NOTEPAD.EXE
