How do I open Notes to display in Full screen mode?

Whenever I launch Notes, it always starts off in a minimized state. I would
like it to open fully on my screen. How do i get it to do this?

You're talking about OneNote, right? Not Outlook Notes or some other product?

How are you opening it - by clicking the tray icon or from the Start Menu
or ?

Hi Ben,

My apologies I should have remembered Notes the biggie versus OneNote. I am
referring to OneNote and yes, I am opening OneNote from the tray icon (that
is where it is most visible and easiest to get to with the work that I do).

Hi Steve,

Then you are opening by default only a side note.
I am not sure what ON version you are using, but I know this works in
2007: Right-click the icon in the tray and select Options. Then select
OneNote Icon Default and pick "Open OneNote". When you double-click the
tray icon now, it opens the full OneNote.
