How do i package a presentation to play on a DVD player?

How do i package a Powerpoint presentation to play on a DVD player. I have
DVD-R blank discs available but when I try to copy the presentation to the
disc the computer says that I need a CD recorder to proceed. Is this because
I have music as background on my presentation?
