How do I paste a photo on Microsoft Word?

Everytime I try and paste a photo on Microsoft Word, some type of weird
codeing comes up. The codeing comes up as the photo and I am unable to figure
out what to do? Please Help

From where are you pasting? If from the Internet, delete the temp files, in
Internet Explorer, tools, Internet Options, delete files.
