How do I paste a picture to an e-mail?

I have a Word document which includes a text box that contains a picture. I
can copy and paste the document to an e-mail, but how do I copy and paste the
picture to the same e-mail?

This only works if your e-mail application supports HTML, and even if it
does there is no guarantee that the recipient can see it correctly. You can
send the pictures as an attachment instead.
