How do I paste my Word document with footnotes into Publisher?

Thesis catalog due soon

I am using both Word 2003 and Publisher 2003. None of my superscripts move
over, though my citations do, but without superscripts. Please tell me that
I do not have to do this manually, I have over 100 footnotes! Is there a way
to import/paste/insert my document into Publisher without sacrificing my
endnotes?
