Nursing Student: med-head,not tech-head

I am in Nursing School and want to paste images from the CD's that came with
my textbooks into Picture manager. I try to take screen shots and paste them
in, but I can't see how to do it. Will this make a .jpg?

Thanks,
Tammy

You don't paste them into Picture Manager. You open a graphics program (at
least Paint), paste them in there then save them as .jpgs.

You can paste into Picture Manager. Right-click, click paste. The result will be
a picture named "copy of XXXX.jpg or if it is a new image, it will be named "New
Picture.bmp" You can rename the picture to a .jpg

Ah - I guess it's me. I just use the Picture Manager as a manager once I've
saved the pictures. Thank you

The idea, JoAnn, is to try to give accurate information.

Perhaps a KB needs to be created for "How to answer a question". <grin>

Asking a question and answering a question aren't too different. For example
the "Before asking" section of the KB cited in your signature also applies
to answering questions.
