How do I paste the same text multiple times in Publisher?

I'm new to Publisher. Usually I work in Adobe PageMaker and there is a basic
function called multiple paste. I use it to paste the same text or element
multiple times.

There is an elegant solution to this. It is called pressing Ctrl-V multiple
times.

If you're particularly adventurous or so inclined, then you can write a
macro to do it for you.

I wish to paste at specific numerical increments. For instance, multiple
paste lines at zero inches off horizontal and .5 vertically.

Thanks Ed. I want to place at specific numerical intervals indicated the
horizontal offset and the vertical offset. Any more ideas? Also, another
problem I've encountered when prepping a Publisher document for offset
printing - How do you make photos print in dot pattern?
