How do I permanently delete a toolbar in Word?

L

Lance

I recently installed Adobe Acrobat, and now the Adobe toolbar and icons are
riding around up there, distracting me. I go into Tools, Customize, Toobars,
Delete, but the next time I open Word, the toolbar is back again. The delete
only lasts for as long as I have Word open.

How do I PERMANENTLY get rid of this toolbar?

Thanks!

If you want to use the full power of Acrobat from Word, then the tools the
add-in provides are essential and the only way to get rid of the toolbar is
to lose the add-in. However all is not lost, there are ways to tame the
thing - see http://www.gmayor.com/lose_that_adobe_acrobat_toolbar.htm
