How do I play mp3 FrontPage background music?

I can set page properties to play wav files. But cannot play mp3 files per
the FrontPage instructions.

Insert the wav file, then switch to HTML/Code view and change it to point to the .mp3 file.

I tried that. It did not work. When loading the web page there is second or
two of jubberish.
