How do I prevent a V-scrollbar on an Access2002 form from resetin.

I have an Access 2002 form with a large memo field with a vertical scrollbar.
Once I paste my text into the field, I need to be able to scroll through to
specific data then tab to another field to enter information from the memo
field. Unfortunately as soon as I tab over the memo field resets to base and
the data that I need to see is further down in the text So how do I get the
memo field to maintain focus on the text after I tab over?
