How do I prevent OneNote from removing spaces when copy/paste

Hi, OneNote automatically removes continueous space charaters when I
copy/paste a text document. This has cause a problem for me since the text
becomes not aligned properly. Could somebody share with me how to turn this
function off in OneNote? Thanks,

Choosing another option under Edit | Paste Special might help...

Thanks for the suggestion. Paste option "text-only" does prevent it from
removing spaces. But they become black and white. In many cases, I need to
deal with rich-text format. They are colored texts, still no solution.

In addition, sometimes I want to paste webpages. The webpages usually look
very different. I hope I can find a trick to preserve the look of the page
too.
