When using the printer postscript to convert a Word document to PDF
hyperlinks where text has been substituted are lost, whereas these are
maintained as live links when the document is converted to PDF using the PDF
maker function available in the drop-down File menu or by right-clicking on
the file in Explorer and selecting "Convert to PDF." However, Word
repeatedly disables the pdfmaker add-in so that the only way to convert is
the printer postscript. Both software programs are fully updated. I've
tried a number of published (online) workarounds to no avail.
