how do I print a footer in Word 2003 on HP Deskjet 612c

using 1" footer, can't print it on HP Deskjet 612c. Word proposes 0.63
inches instead of my 1". Doesn't print. (?)

I think the bottom margin measurement is 1", but the footer "from edge"
measurement is less than 0.63". In Word, click on File | Page Setup |
Layout | From edge: Footer: 0.63" | OK. Many newer inkjet printers let
you print closer to the edge.
