How do I print a Visio picture with the grid lines?

I want to be able to print a picture with the grid lines present so that I
can use them for a scale. When you go to print preview, the grid lines are
missing and I can't find any info in the HELP files that is any use.

In Visio 2003 there is a Print Gridlines option on the Page Setup dialog.
Also note that gridlines can be dynamic (change size according to zoom
level) or fixed size. See Tools / Ruler & Grid

In version prior to Visio 2003, you have to add a background page with a
grid pattern to get the same effect.
