I remember the old word was very easy to figure out and print business
cards... can anyone help me how to figure it out in this NEW and IMPROVED
word 2007????
Not to be a smart .... but this program is WAY over engineered!!! If you
agree vote "i agree"
I sort of agree.
I print business cards in Publisher, and this seems to work okay (finding
the brand/size of cards lines it up). On the other hand, when I had 2003, I
could easily set up and print tent cards (bottom or side open) They would
print out 2 to a page and I'd cut them apart.
With Pub 2007 I can't seem to get this to work. Even files I have saved
from 2003 end up printing off center or one of them in the middle of the
page, or something. The print preview doesn't seem to show "print 2 to a
page". Or, maybe it's the program and the printer.
I have the same printer, too.
I think, for me anyway, it gets confusing trying to set something up in
the program, AND set up the printer to do it that way. I remember my first
printer, a Canon BJC-250. It didn't do much but print. Whatever I set up, it
would print. Simple.
Now when I make cards I set them up in Paint Shop Pro, in print layout (2
to a page).
I know this isn't Word but like you, I was all set with something in 2003
that didn't work in 07.
In a way I like ALL that 07 does, especially Word, but in another way, I
have a hard time deciding what to use, there are so many choices. Format,
wording, shapes, borders, watermarks, etc.
