How do I Print Gridlines in Visio 2002

Try as I might, I can only find the option to turn gridlines in the document
on or off - is it possible to print them?

I believe that printable gridlines may have shown up in v2003. I vaguely
remember a vba routine that was over on John Marshall's site that had a
'create gridline' function that could then be printed.
