How do I print my pictures smaller in Microsoft Picture Manager?

I have a picture which looks pretty small when you view it at 100% in Picture
Manager, but when I look at the print previews it either takes up the WHOLE
A4 page or when I click the different ways you can print it it cuts off part
of the picture. Can anyone please tell me how I can print the picture so that
it takes up a smaller part of an A4 page? I actually want the pictures
themselves to be B6 sized when printed out.....

Thanks guys!

Can you not resize the picture in Picture Manager? Click *edit picture* in the
Getting Started task pane, type the dimensions you need in the custom sizes.
Save with a different name if you want to retain the original image.
If you are using Word, create a one cell table the B6 size and insert the
picture. You wouldn't need to resize the picture.

Thanks for the reply - really appreciate your help! However I have tried
re-sizing it and it still doesn't work - it shrinks the picture in the
viewing area but when you print it it still takes up the whole page :( and
when I look at the print preview and different ways of arranging the picture
on the A4 sheet of paper, the top and bottom bits of the picture have been
cut off.

One of the reasons I am using Picture Manager for this is that I have a
picture that I wish to print out which was created in Adobe Flash but when I
paste it into word or MS paint it seems to lose the quality of the pic and
the lines are a bit fuzzy. For some reason Picture Manager keeps the quality
of the pic. I tried printing in Flash too but no luck with the sizing. I
tried printing in word but it also makes the lines fuzzy and no way near as
sharp as Picture Manager.

You real problem is that Microsoft Picture Manager doesn't do the
formatting for printing. It merely invokes the Windows Fax and Picture
Printing Wizard. You will need to use a different program to accomplish
what you are trying to do. Perhaps try "Irfanview" from the internet.

Hi Bob,
Thanks heaps for your reply - I take it for what I want to do Picture
Manager isn't the correct program for me? Actually the thing I am trying to
do is print my picture to make into cards (ie. B6 sized) so maybe 2 B6 sized
pics per page, but I want to keep the same quality as seen in Adobe Flash.
Will Irfanview keep this same quality for me? Or if not, can you suggest any
other programs which would be suitable for what I want to do?

Thanks again for your help!

You won't know until you try. Neither Adobe Flash or Irfanview are
Office applications. You may search google for others.
