how do i print on individual index cards 3x5?

As far as Word is concerned they are documents like any other. Your bigger
problem will be the printer's ability to handle the individual cards. If it
will and the size if not pre-defined in page setup set the page to A4 or US
Letter and make up the difference with margins.
