how do I print one page of a multiple page e-mail

When I receive a multiple page e-mail, I usually only need to print the first
page but the print options only offer me the choice of even numbered pages or
odd numbered pages. I cannot choose just page 1 to print. Is there a way
round this as I am using far too much paper and ink unnecessarily.
