How do I protect a document without having to assign a password?

I'm trying to create a template (.dot) and want to protect it so that when
information is added, the drop down fields will populate. However, I don't
want to have to create a password to protect the document. In 2003, you only
had to select the the little lock selection and didn't have to assign a
password. I don't see an option for this in 2007. Is there?

In either the Review or Developer tab, click on Protect Document - Restrict
Formatting and Editing - Editing Restrictions - Allow only this type of
editing in the document - and choose Filling in forms. Then click Yes, Start
Enforcing Protection.

PS... in the Start Enforcing Protection dialog, leave the password fields
blank and click OK.
