How do I protect a template from being changed by co-workers?

I created letterhead stationery with our logo, address and board of directors
on it. I want my co-workers to be able to use it for letterhead, but I don't
want them messing with the logo, address and BOD list. How can I protect it
from being changed by them?

If you have put the letterhead in the header of the template, that will
protect it from inadvertent tampering, which is probably all you need; see

I read the excellent articles you reference, but my letterhead isn't in a
header. It runs down the right margin.

Did you trying inserting the sidebar "letterhead" into a textbox, and then
cut and paste the whole textbox into your header?? We did that in our law
firm and no one reported problems with inadvertently "editing" it.

Do you use a document management system such as Worldox? We use the
security tools available in Worldox to lock down our templates so that no one
can "change" the templates themselves, but can only use clean copies of them.
If they start having troubles with the headers or footers, they can cut and
paste the text of their document into a fresh template copy and "keep on
truckin'!!"
