How do I purge contacts, calendar items and such - or start fresh?

I would like to clear out all of my current contacts, calendar items and
start Outlook fresh. I'm starting to use Outlook 2007 with Bus Contact Mgr.

My outlook.pst is currently 3.7 GB large now. Starting fresh with the new
business may improve my app performance and clear out years of clutter.

The low road is empty Outlook's deleted items folder.

I've seen tips every once in while for deeply purging PST files.

Alternatively you could create a new Mail profile, which would create
a new PST.
