How do I put a New Email button on my QuickLaunch?

I sent a lot of email and don't want to go into Outlook each time I open a
new email. In a previous version there was an office toolbar for the desktop
and I could just click a button there (and I had figured out how to copy it
to the QuickLaunch toolbal). I can't seem to find a way to do it now with
2003. Any suggestions?

It should already be there. Do you have the Quick Launch Bar active? OL is a
yellow square. but if it's not already there, drag it from the Programs Menu
or your Desktop with a right click and choose Copy Here.
