Make Outlook Today Default View

I can't get Outlook to display Outlook Today as the default view. Help is no
help since it refers to a navigation pane for Outlook Today that doesn't
exist. (I'm using Office 2003, Standard Edition). I've searched through
Tools/Options and the Help file and can't find anything to fix the problem.

In addition to what Chris posted, the Navigation pane is not configurable -
Outlook MVPs have asked for this in the next version of Outlook as it is
very useful.

After searching google.groups.com and finding no answer, Make Outlook Today

Thanks, Chris. The problem is there's nothing under Personal Folders for
Outlook Today. All the other folders are listed, as expected. But not
Outlook Today.

This works only to get Outlook Today to come up when I first open the
application. If I then go to Inbox or Calendar or Contacts, there's no way
back to Outlook Today other than to exit the application and then restart it.

I found the solution! Double clicking on the "Personal Folders" icon brings
up Outlook Today. Thanks for your help. Sorry to have been such a pain.
