How do I put the full filepath in the footer

How do you insert the full filepath of a document in the footer, eg using
fieldcodes?

What I've tried and DIDN'T work:
-- Insert>Quickparts>Field>Filename (gives only the filename, not the path)
-- Insert>Quickparts>Field>DocProperty Location (gives error)

I would prefer the filepath to dynamically update itself in case the
filename or location is changed if there is a way of doing that.

What you're missing here is the check box in that dialog for "Add path to
filename."
