how do I put the icons on my desktop for easier access.

I just purchased Office student and teacher edition 2003. I know there is a
way to put the icons for word, excel and power point on your desktop. Can
anyone tell me how?

This news group is dedicated to Microsoft Project !
Anyway, try this:
Right Click the destop, click the "New" command in the popup menu
Click "Shortcut"
Browse to find Excel.exe or Winword.exe or PowerPnt.exe
My Computer | Crogram files | Microsoft office | Office 10
Next : Give a name to that new shortcut
