How do I put together a complete book in MS OFFICE WORD 2007?

I want to make a book with cover, table of contents, preface, chapter 1,
chaprer 2, ... chapter n, appendix, index, etc. I would like each of the
above parts to be a seperate indemendent file and be able to link them
together to produce a complete book. How do I do this? How do I find our
how to do this?
