How do I re-enable the keyboard shortcut to insert a line in Word.

The following feature in Word 7 has stopped working...
"To create a line, press the hyphen key three or more times, and then press
ENTER. To create a thicker line, hold the SHIFT key down and press the hyphen
key three or more times, and then press ENTER. "
How can I re-enable it?

From the Tools menu, select AutoCorrect and then go to the "AutoFormat As
You Type" tab and check the box for "Border lines"

Many thanks Doug, that does the job. For Word 7 the equivalent to the
"Tools" menu is as follows (whole equivalent sequence shown):

Office Button Word OptionsProofingAutoCorrect OptionsAutoFormat As You
Type tab Apply As You TypeCheck box “Border linesâ€

I mention this in case it may be helpful to others applying your
instructions to Word 7

Note that Word 2007 is Word 12, not Word 7 (which was Word for Windows 95).

inquiring about, Word 2007 on Vista Home Premium.
