How do I reapply updates after reinstall?

I would like to reinstall my 2002 Microsoft Office rather than buying a new
Microsoft Office to go with my new computer. There have been a lot of
updates since 2002, however. What is the safest and most efficient way to
reinstall these updates?

Install Office XP and then install the Service Packs and then go to Office Update to
install the rest that you are missing
