How do I receive reminders from a public calendar?

The message that appears after I set a reminder and then Save and Close the
Calendar entry is as follows:

The reminder "Calendar Entry title" will not appear because the item is not
in your Calendar or Tasks folder. Is this OK?"

What is the solution?

Look for a product called Reminder Manager.

Outlook doesn't support this behavior.

Dear Mauzmon,

Outlook can not send a reminder from a "public calendar" and not from a
"subcalendar" of your Personal Folders. A reminder works only in the
standard folders.

A Third Party tool from Ken Slovak could be the solution:
