how do I recover a visio file?

my pc re-started overnight and an open file was not saved.

In this case I use Office DocumentsRescue Professional, but it's actual only
if Visio Autosave is ON. In other case, file was in RAM and deleted.

Backup, Backup, Backup

If your auto recover was switched on, when you try to open the file, the
auto recover may say this file was saved, if it was previously saved to the
HDD only. If the file was not saved previously, then you're s**t out of
luck, as the file will be gone.
