How do I recover a Word file from recently emptied Recycle Bin?

A

Ana Artemisia

I deleted a Word document recently (3/4) days ago, and emptied the Recycle
Bin on the same day. How can I retrieve that document?

I do not know of any free programs that you can get, but you can get a
program called UnDelete from Executive Software. If the file can be recovered
it will get it.

Most file recovery programs will have a demo version that will scan your
drive for files that can be recovered. You can run the demo and see if it can
get your file or not. If so, you can then purchase the software and get your
file back.

That is of course if the file is that important to you.

Please note though that those software programs cannot bring back that doc if
you have saved a lot of things to your hard drive, I would buy the software
from a store vs. downloading.

You can try using File Scavanger...with this much time having gone by it is
likely that you will not find it in good standing. I can send you the file if
you would like to try it.

Did you ever retrieve the document, and how? I've lost one as well. Thx!

You *may* be able to recover a deleted file with file recovery software. Try
Google.

Graham's right but I suspect it would be a costly adventure (time and money)
to try to recover it. Is it worth it? If so, then you should have a backup
somewhere.

Why do I suspect you may have more than a casual interest in this "stellar"
software?

In any event, when it comes to deleted item recovery, when you're not
familiar with the machine in question and don't know what has happened to
the machine in the 3-4 days since he emptied the recycle bin, you can't
possibly GUARANTEE full data recovery. Data recovery might be likely, but
never certain, under those circumstances.

I am interested in stellar phoenix because i used this software in

This is only the suggestion i am not forcing any one to buy this
software and if i am not wrong Google group is all about suggestions.
Thanks and i am waiting for your response ...
