How do I recover files & emails after a default reset of Outlook?

Due to problems I was experiencing with Outlook email viewing, it was
recomended that I reset the defaults. When I did, all of my saved emails in
sub-files disapeared from my inbox. How can I recover them?

If you kept your emails in a PST file, then try to point to the correct
PST file.
