how do i recover outlook email and address book?

I am running windows ME. Tried to reinstall it hoping to fix some problems I
was having with the computer. Took several tries and a lot of problems to
finally get it installed, now I'm having a lot of other problems with the
computer. The one I want to ask about here is this- after the reinstall all
my Outlook emails and my address book for the last 3 years disappeared. Any
way to find/recover all of these folders/emails and my address book?

Search for all Outlook Data files (files with a .pst extension). Open each
in Outlook until you find your data.
