How do I reduce blank space btwn rows in detail sect of rpt

I want the rows in the detail section of my report to be closer together.
Dragging the detail & footer section as close as possible still leaves a lot
of blank space between each row. I am a new user and am using Access 2003

Do you have any extra vertical space in the detail section?

Point with the mouse cursor to the top of the bar for the section
immediately below the Detail section of your report. When the cursor
changes to a bar with an up-down arrow, you can drag the bar upward to
reduce the size of the detail section.

You can only reduce the height to the position of the bottom of lowest
control within the detail section. So if, for example, you have a
horizontal line at the bottom of the detail section (well below the lowest
textbox), you will only be able to reduce the detail section to where that
line is. You can, of course, move the line up, then reduce the detail
section's height further.
