How do I reduce XP security to use Macros in MS Excel?

I keep getting a message when i try to open a spreadsheet that requires
macros , saying that I cannot open the Invoice spreadsheet because of my High
Security Level. How do I fix this? Is it an XP nightmare, or a problem with
Norton 2005?

You can reduce the settings in Tools>options>Security>Macro Security... If
you set it to medium you will get a dialogue asking to enable or disable

By default now, security is set to high to disable macros as they can
contain malicious code
