how do i reinstall missing patch files so I can update Office

how do I reinstall the missing patch files mistakenly removed . I can't
updaste Office 2003 with my installation disc.

Hi, Gill. You can't reinstall the missing patch files, but you can make your
computer stop looking for them by downloading and running the Windows
Installer Cleanup Utility from http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=290301 .
Use this to remove the Windows Installer information related to Office 2003.

I tried the Installer Cleanup method, re-installed Office 2003, but still
cannot get updates. What have I missed?
