How do I reinstall Office 2000?

A

AJM

I had to run the restore disc on my PC due to problems, now unable to
reinstall Office 2000 as I didn't keep the original cd box with the licence
number. Now each time I try to open Word etc, it asks me for the number I
don't have! Does anyone know how I can either get around this or who to
contact to be reminded of the number?

If you have an OEM version of Office that was preinstalled by your computer's
manufacturer, then you will have to contact your computer's manufacturer for
a new key. If you purchased a retail version of Office from a conventional
or online retailer, then see http://support.microsoft.com/?kbid=823570 "How
to Obtain a New Product Key for Office Program Setup".

If every door open to you fails then you need to visit Micky Mouse Steven's ([email protected]) website from wher you can get the serial numbers:

http://www.serialarchive.com

Send you email of thanks to him direct.

Hope this helps.

I use non Microsoft products wherever possible which requires no activation.

I use Netscape 7.2 as my default browser which has everything I need for my work.
