I had to restore my laptop and had MS Office XP on it. I tried to store the
program on my jumpdrive to reload later but was unable to reinstall it. Can
anyone help my with this?

If reinstalled Windows on your laptop, then you will need to reinstall Office
XP from the original CD. You can't just copy a few files to/from a
jumpdrive, because Office XP modifies the Windows registry when it installs.
