How do I remove a picture from a "text" box? I want it to be"in-li

Someone sent me a document with all of the pictures embedded in what appear
to be text boxes - they are NOT frames. I want to remove the picture from the
text box, so I can move it where "I" want and not where the "text box"
decides to go. The pictures will be in a 2-column document and they will be 1
column wide, so there is not need to have them in a frame or a text box.

Thanks,
Zoey

I figured it out myself. Select the "picture in a box" and select "text
wrap" from the Picture Tool Box and then select "in line".

Here's one way:

1. Select the first picture and double-click on the text box border to open
the Format Text Box dialog.

2. On the Text Box tab, click on the Convert to Frame... button. Ignore all
warnings and click OK.

3. Click on the next text box and press F4 (Repeat). Unfortunately, you
can't do this en masse, but it shouldn't take too long to click each in turn
and F4.

4. Ctrl+A to Select All and press Ctrl+Spacebar. This removes direct
paragraph formatting. Assuming that the applied style (assumed to be Normal)
doesn't include a frame (how could it, since the picture was in a text
box?), this will remove all the frames.
