how do I Remove a watermark from a template document

Having created a picture watermark, and used the page for a template ( with a
photo and an image and a heading), I now find that when the page has been
used to insert text, the result is too large to send by Email.(11.5 MB) Is
there any way to remove the watermark? I would like to retain the items
stated before the text was added

To Suzanne S. Barnhill,
Your answer has done the trick. I had tried so many things and failed! I
tried this discussion group as a last resort. I have one more big problem
which I will put in next! Thank you very much for your assistance
