How do I remove Level 1 and 2 but show Level 3 only in a TOC?

Using 2007 and getting confused! How do I only show a Level 3 Heading in a
TOC when I have multiple levels?

Also, what does the "Add Text" in the References, Table of Contents mean?
There is a checkmark for either of the following options: Do not show in
table of contents, Heading 1, Heading 2 and Heading 3. Does that have
anything to do with my question above?

Hi Suzanne,

I did check the link below but nothing seemed to work and tried checking off
the different levels before I posted my question. There doesn't seem to be
anything in the help for 2007 either. :(((

You've added the \n 1-2 switch and updated the TOC and still no joy? The
other alternative is to uncheck Heading 1 and Heading 2 in the TOC Options.

Hi again Suzanne and thanks for staying with me! I was trying all sorts of
things yesterday, including unchecking Heading 1 and 2, but today I calmed
down and reread your very informative article and tried removing the
*numbers* by the Table of Contents, Options, Level 1 and Level 2. When I
generated the TOC, it only showed the Level 3!! So, that's it!

Thanks!

Les
